Connecticut adopts "War-Time Prohibition" statewide. This was a six and a half month transitional measure which required brewers to lower the alcohol content of their beers to not over 2.75 %. The measure was meant to to save grain for the war effort, but it was signed into law seven days after the armistice was signed.
