This final 8 1/2" stein in the series captures the bustling spirit of the St. Louis Levee in the late 1870s. The detailed relief features barrels of Anheuser-Busch beer ready to be loaded on Mississippi river boats. In the background is the Eads Bridge, the main thoroughfare spanning the Mississippi after 1874. An attractive ceramic inlaid pewter lid tops the stein. Never displayed, like new condition. Box is also very nice.
