Classic scene of a Monk with turnips, radishes, and hard bread, just returning from the cellar where he filled his stein from the aging keg. Gorgeous tray with deep, rich color and almost all of the original factory finish. This is the rarer, later version with the "Neuweiler Light Beer" Shield. Tarnish on the metallic rim, but otherwise very nice, as shown in the photos. "Made in Western Germany" on reverse.
