Saturday, October 27, 1849 Simon Carl Hieronimus
Simon Carl Hieronimus was born in Boersch, Alsace Lorraine, France. Both of Simon's parents and all of Simon's grandparents died before he reached the age of ten. At 23 he emigrated to America. By 1876 he was married and living in San Francisco. In 1878 He had a boy of his own and was establishing the New York Brewery in North Bloomfield, Nevada County, California. Simon Carl Hieronimus died Christmas Eve, 1911. He was survived by his wife, a son and three daughters.
