This is listed as a "brewer" in the 1867 edition of Edward's Descriptive Gazetteer and Commercial Directory of the Mississippi Valley.  I can find no other information about this.  I believe it is incorrect (probably a saloon or larger error) but I will leave it here until more information becomes available.
