Martin Mason was born in Hamilton, Ohio. In 1886 he partnered with Henry P. Deuscher to purchase the Eagle Brewing Co. in that town. The brewery later became known as the Martin Mason Brewing Co. and survived to Prohibition. It came back in 1933 as the Hamilton Brewing Co. only to close for good in 1940. Martin Mason died on the 3rd of February, 1900 at age 43.
