A classic can from the Minnesota?s great wildlife and duck stamp artist Les Kouba. The theme of this work is humanity's encroachment on native habitat. Kouba uses a stream to symbolize the passing of time. To the left of the stream we see a herd of Buffalo grazing the open prarie long ago. To the right of the stream is a modern dairy farm, where cows amiably munch on green grass.
This can displays the three line mandatory just underneath the Schmidt emblem in the blue. This is the Pale Blue Continental Can Company variation with narrow line spacing in the mandatory and a soldered narrow seam.
