This large, heavily embossed wood-framed Vac-u-form sign is in excellent condition with no cracks. It measures 34 x 18 inches tall. On the left, it has a 3-D image of the football used in the 1897 Thanksgiving Day game between the Chicago Maroons and the Michigan Wolverines. The sign also depicts the "Flying Wedge" line-up. It also lists the "Old Time Greats": Jim Thorpe, Pudge Heffelfinger, Ted Coy, Ma Newell, Frank Hinkey, Thomas Hare, Charles Dudley Daly, Tom Shevlin, and Walter Eckersall.
